Bryan Haggard Land Group was founded during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, in May 2020. Co-Founder and brokerage Partner, Josh Bryan, saw a need for more relatable and reliable partnership opportunities in the commercial land and development industry of the greater DFW metro areas. Additionally, this namesake company would also stand as an avenue for the family’s legacy to continue for future generations of Bryans and Haggards.

“This Spring, my wife and I learned that we were expecting our first child together,” recalled Bryan. “That was the moment I knew I needed to start thinking seriously about the legacy I wanted to leave behind for my children, our extended family and our community as a whole.”

The extensive Haggard ancestry in Plano, TX traces back to the mid-1800’s and the family has deep roots with the development of Collin county and surrounding areas. Bryan’s maternal branch of the family at one point owned and farmed several thousand acres of undeveloped land in North Texas, much of which has since been sold and developed into what it is known as today. With such a rich history in the community, it was a natural fit for Bryan to continue in the footsteps of generations past and create a continuing legacy of his own.

The other half of the Bryan Haggard team is brokerage Co-Founder and Principle Partner, Rodney Haggard. Haggard brings an impressive 40+ years of experience in the North Texas real estate development industry to the new brokerage and he also currently owns and manages properties via Fairview Farm Land Company Ltd. His extensive involvement in all phases of real estate development in the Plano area, including residential subdivisions, multi-family developments and management made the creation of the Bryan Haggard Land Group partnership a no-brainer for both parties.

“It’s a pleasure to partner with my nephew in this new endeavor,” said Haggard. “This is a legacy-building effort on his part, but it’s also something the Haggards can hang their hats on and be proud of as we continue our efforts to help our community evolve into one that is rich and plentiful for generations to come.”

“My passion to see this community and its surrounding areas flourish is engrained in me,” said Bryan when asked why he felt his was the time to upstart a new brokerage. “As land-owners ourselves, we get what our neighbors are currently facing in this current market. Our goal in founding this brokerage is multi-faceted and something I’m very proud to be a part of.”

“We are your real estate guide,” Bryan continued. “We love helping land owners and buyers navigate both the negotiation process and municipal intricacies of each transaction. Our mission is to have an open mindset and reach outside of our company walls to collaborate with others so that buyers and sellers can obtain the necessary results to be successful. That’s what we’re striving for.”
